{"id":10975,"date":"2025-07-24T10:07:53","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T10:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=10975"},"modified":"2025-07-24T10:07:53","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T10:07:53","slug":"plane-carrying-49-crashes-in-russias-far-east-authorities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=10975","title":{"rendered":"Plane carrying 49 crashes in Russia\u2019s far east: authorities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A passenger plane carrying 49 people crashed in Russia\u2019s far eastern region of Amur on Thursday, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft, a twin-engine Antonov-24 operated by Angara Airlines, was headed to the town of Tynda from the city of Blagoveshchensk when it disappeared from radar, regional governor Vassily Orlov said on Telegram.<\/p>\n<p>A rescue helicopter later spotted the burning fuselage of the plane on a mountainside about 16 kilometres from Tynda.<\/p>\n<p>The helicopter saw no evidence of survivors from above, local rescuers said.<\/p>\n<p>The Amur region\u2019s civil defence agency said it was dispatching rescuers to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the moment, 25 people and five units of equipment have been dispatched, and four aircraft with crews are on standby,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>The incident comes just days after a Bangladesh air force training jet crashed into a college and school campus in the capital, Dhaka, on Monday, killing 31 and injuring more than 170 people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A passenger plane carrying 49 people crashed in Russia\u2019s far eastern region of Amur on Thursday, authorities said.
