{"id":13355,"date":"2025-11-12T22:21:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T22:21:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=13355"},"modified":"2025-11-12T22:21:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T22:21:07","slug":"house-democrats-release-epstein-papers-saying-trump-knew-about-the-girls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=13355","title":{"rendered":"House Democrats release Epstein papers saying Trump \u2018knew about the girls\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Democrats released emails on Wednesday in which convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein suggested that United States President Donald Trump was aware of the financier\u2019s sexual abuse and definitely \u201cknew about the girls\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has denied any involvement in or knowledge of the sex-trafficking activities of his former friend, who died by suicide in federal prison in 2019 as he was awaiting trial.<\/p>\n<p>But Democrats on the House Oversight Committee said the emails \u201craise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein\u2019s horrific crimes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The furore around the disgraced financier is still roiling Trump\u2019s administration four months after his Justice Department effectively closed the case, announcing there was no more information to share.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats in the House \u2014 keen to capitalise on the simmering controversy \u2014 have been trying to force a vote that would compel publication of the full Epstein case files.<\/p>\n<p>The newly released emails were written to longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking after Epstein\u2019s death, and author Michael Wolff.<\/p>\n<p>In them, Epstein asserts Trump spent significant time with a woman whom Oversight Democrats describe as a victim of Epstein\u2019s sex trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>In one email to Wolff shared by Democrats and dated January 31, 2019, Epstein allegedly wrote: \u201cTrump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever\u2026 of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In another message from April 2011, Epstein told Maxwell: \u201cI want you to realise that that dog that hasn\u2019t barked is Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that an unnamed victim \u201cspent hours at my house with him \u2026 he has never once been mentioned\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell replied: \u201cI have been thinking about that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democrats on the House Oversight Committee obtained the emails after subpoenaing Epstein\u2019s estate earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing in connection with Epstein or Maxwell.<\/p>\n<p>The White House issued a response accusing Democrats of pushing a \u201cfake narrative\u201d after the emails were released.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump,\u201d Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The release came on the day that House Speaker Mike Johnson is scheduled to swear in Democratic Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva to succeed her late father in Congress.<\/p>\n<p>Grijalva is expected to provide the final signature needed for a petition to force a House vote to release all unclassified records related to Epstein, something Johnson and Trump have resisted up to now.<\/p>\n<p>The top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, Representative Robert Garcia, called on the Justice Department to fully release the Epstein files to the public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Democrats released emails on Wednesday in which convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein suggested that United States President Donald Trump was aware of the financier\u2019s sexual abuse and definitely \u201cknew about the girls\u201d.
