{"id":13376,"date":"2025-11-13T23:51:57","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T23:51:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=13376"},"modified":"2025-11-13T23:51:57","modified_gmt":"2025-11-13T23:51:57","slug":"turkiye-refutes-indian-media-reports-alleging-involvement-in-delhi-blast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=13376","title":{"rendered":"Turkiye refutes Indian media reports alleging involvement in Delhi blast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Turkiye on Thursday refuted claims made by Indian media outlets claiming that Ankara had a link to the car blast in Delhi earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>A day prior, the Indian government confirmed that it was treating a car blast that killed 12 people and wounded at least 20 others in Delhi as a \u201cterror incident\u201d and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice as swiftly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Turkiye\u2019s Directorate of Communications rejected the allegations and displayed screenshots of social media posts by two Indian outlets, which claimed Ankara had a \u201crole in radicalising sleeper cells against India, [the] Turkish government is providing logistical, diplomatic and financial help to all terrorist groups across the world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe deliberate reports in certain Indian media outlets \u2026 are part of a malicious disinformation campaign aimed at damaging bilateral relations between the two countries,\u201d Ankara\u2019s statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Turkiye rejected acts of terror \u201cregardless of where or by whom they are committed\u201d and noted its contributions to counter-terrorism frameworks by the United Nations and Nato.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe claim that Turkiye engages in \u2018radicalisation activities\u2019 targeting India or any other country is purely disinformative and lacks any factual basis,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuch unfounded and manipulative reports targeting Turkiye are attempts to undermine our country\u2019s contributions to international peace, security, and stability. The public is kindly advised not to give credence to such disinformative claims.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The explosion was reported near the Red Fort in the Indian capital of New Delhi on Monday, in which at least eight people were killed and at least 20 people were injured. The toll later rose to 12.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA slow-moving vehicle stopped at a red light. An explosion happened in that vehicle, and due to the explosion, nearby vehicles were also damaged,\u201d Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha told reporters. \u201cThe situation is being monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At least six vehicles and three autorickshaws caught fire, Delhi\u2019s deputy fire chief said, adding that the flames had been doused by firefighting teams.<\/p>\n<p>Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to bring to justice all those responsible, while his Home Minister, Amit Shah, said he had instructed officials \u201cto hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Turkiye on Thursday refuted claims made by Indian media outlets claiming that Ankara had a link to the car blast in Delhi earlier this week.
