{"id":3753,"date":"2024-12-07T23:30:04","date_gmt":"2024-12-07T23:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=3753"},"modified":"2024-12-07T23:30:04","modified_gmt":"2024-12-07T23:30:04","slug":"aurangzeb-urges-continuity-in-economic-policy-regardless-of-govt-in-power","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=3753","title":{"rendered":"Aurangzeb urges continuity in economic policy regardless of govt in power"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb on Saturday stressed the importance of continuity in the country\u2019s economic policy, saying it should be consistent regardless of the government in power.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the business community, including the Pakistan Business Council and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also highlighted the need for long-term economic policies, linking them with political stability.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters at the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) in Karachi today, Aurangzeb said, \u201cWhen we talk about the charter of economy, it does not matter which administration comes in \u2026 the government\u2019s role is policy framework but even more important is policy continuity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said more investment was coming into the country and the existing level of investment was \u201cfantastic\u201d.
