{"id":5266,"date":"2025-01-31T03:35:31","date_gmt":"2025-01-31T03:35:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=5266"},"modified":"2025-01-31T03:35:31","modified_gmt":"2025-01-31T03:35:31","slug":"two-workers-killed-in-boiler-blast-near-karachis-port-qasim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=5266","title":{"rendered":"Two workers killed in \u2018boiler blast\u2019 near Karachi\u2019s Port Qasim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: Two workers were killed and five others injured in a \u201cboiler explosion\u201d inside a factory in the Port Qasim area on Thursday, police and hospital officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Malir SSP Kashif Abbasi told Dawn that a \u201cboiler blast caused leakage of ammonia gas\u201d causing injuries to seven people.<\/p>\n<p>They were taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre(JPMC) where Nasir, 22, and Kamran, 28, were declared dead by doctors.<\/p>\n<p>Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed said they had sustained \u201cchemical burns\u201d.
