{"id":8062,"date":"2025-04-12T00:46:04","date_gmt":"2025-04-12T00:46:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=8062"},"modified":"2025-04-12T00:46:04","modified_gmt":"2025-04-12T00:46:04","slug":"gaza-hell-on-earth-as-hospital-supplies-running-out-warns-head-of-red-cross","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/weeklyyoung.pk\/?p=8062","title":{"rendered":"Gaza \u2018hell on earth\u2019 as hospital supplies running out, warns head of Red Cross"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The president of the Red Cross has described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as \u201chell on earth\u201d and warned that its field hospital will run out of supplies within two weeks, Reuters reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are now finding ourselves in a situation that I have to describe as hell on earth \u2026 People don\u2019t have access to water, electricity, food, in many parts,\u201d Mirjana Spoljaric told Reuters at the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva.<\/p>\n<p>Spoljaric said supplies were running critically low.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor six weeks, nothing has come in, so we will, in a couple of weeks\u2019 time, run out of supplies that we need to keep the hospital going,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The World Health Organisation said supplies of antibiotics and blood bags were dwindling fast.
