Match analysis by Dawn sports correspondent Mir Shabbar Ali: The loss has once again put the spotlight on the massive gulf of quality between Pakistan and other teams in terms of technique, game awareness, fitness and pressure handling. Pakistan chased the game for most part of the fixture. When they did have some sort of control, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel threw their wickets away, giving India an opening which they pounced on and never let go of. There were no more real partnerships to follow and the score was below par. India did what they needed to at the start; attack. And they did enough of it to set up a solid base for what was always going to be an easy chase. And having at your disposal to finish the job, there are hardly any chances of failure. Pakistan bowlers were ineffective mostly and India had enough time to tread through the more difficult phases of their innings, if there were any. Kohli, meanwhile, was flawless, immersing himself in the electric atmosphere at the Dubai International Stadium and giving the Indian fans a treat to watch and cherish for the years to come.
